The drive belt is one of the most important elements for your Polaris vehicle's performance: the link between the engine and high performance. The drive belt, also known as a CVT belt (continuously variable transmission belt), is a key component of ATV, UTV, and Side-by-Side drive systems. It is developed and tested on all our engines for all environments and conditions. Our belts are designed, manufactured, and tested by Polaris engineers and field test teams to ensure a perfect fit, high performance, and excellent durability. Nothing else comes close.
OEM Drive Belt: The Polaris drive belt, part number 3211180, operates at lower temperatures, experiences less heat wear, requires no clutch recalibration, and ensures optimal vehicle performance.
OEM Performance: Polaris-designed CVT belts are engineered and tested to operate at lower temperatures, even at high RPMs, providing excellent strength and heat dissipation. High Strength: The lowest tolerance available (0.188 inches) means Polaris CVT belts have the least allowable variation in width and length, resulting in consistently higher performance.
Durable Materials: Polaris drive belts are made with aramid for high strength and long-lasting reliability. They are developed and tested on all our engines for all types of environments and conditions.
Extensive Testing: Polaris belts undergo 40,000 miles of field testing, thousands of dynamometer hours, more than 18 months of development (over 13,000 design hours) per CVT belt, more than 1,500 hours of vehicle validation, and collaboration with powertrain and clutch engineers.
